Theresa Bennett, formerly Hemp Grower managing editor, has been promoted to Editor. Bennett will be responsible for driving the editorial direction and running the daily operations of the monthly print magazine, under the leadership of Editorial Director Noelle Skodzinski. She will also work with Digital Editor Eric Sandy to continue to grow the digital media assets of the brand, including HempGrower.com and the Hemp Grower e-newsletter.

Bennett began her career at GIE Media in 2018. She joined the Hemp Grower team in 2020 as Associate Editor and was quickly promoted to Managing Editor later that year. Previously, Bennett served as a Metro Student Correspondent and Reporter at Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Magazine Journalism.

“Since Theresa joined the team at Hemp Grower, the entire team has been incredibly impressed with her editorial skills and passion for the hemp industry,” Skodzinski said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how she grows in this role and how she will lead the Hemp Grower brand in its mission to be a trusted resource for legal hemp farmers in North America.”
